Shedding the veil

In "Bringing the Mountain to Mohammed" at Shift magazine, Geoff Girvitz considers if the thousands of Iranians who have been inspired to blog by Hossein Derakhshan's Persian weblog could change the face of Islam. Meanwhile, the BBC reports that schoolgirls in Tehran will be shedding their veils and wearing more colorful clothing. Hardliners don't like it as they say it will lead to a "culture of nudity." So?
