Director Online Conversations und Chief Blogging Officer
Not a day goes by without some new wonder being revealed. Take job titles. Wolfgang Lünenbürger-Reidenbach, who's better known in the blogosphere as "der Haltungsturner", will be joining the German office of Edelman, the global public relations firm, in a brand new role. The press release puts it like this: "Einer der bekannten deutschen Blogger verstärkt die drei deutschen Büros von Edelman: Wolfgang Lünenbürger-Reidenbach wird ab 1. August neuer Director Online Conversations und Chief Blogging Officer."
The Verein Deutsche Sprache, which attempts to repel what it calls "Denglish" will, no doubt, have a word or two or three (Director Online Conversations, Chief Blogging Officer) to say about these additions to its expanding Anglizismenliste-Index.
