Patrick Wolf's Magic Position

Earlier this year, in an interview with The London Paper, Patrick Wolf raised some eyebrows when he said: "In the same way I don't know if my sixth album is going to be a death-metal record or children's pop, I don't know whether I'm destined to live my life with a horse, a woman or a man. It makes life easier." That aside, there's a nice hint of the Pet Shop Boys here in "The Magic Position". It's a fab sing-along.

Back in July, the day after he supported Mika at Somerset House in London, Wolf sent his MySpace community a bulletin stating that "Mika is a twat". Two weeks ago, at a concert at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne, a heckler demanded that he play a Mika song to which he responded: "I believe there is a diseased person in the audience." Handbags!
