Voice, piano, snow, frost and rugby

It's Wales vs. Ireland today in the Six Nations rugby tournament, so let's extend the hand of friendship to our Celtic cousins from An Bhreatain Bheag by listening to John Cale, originally of Garnant in the Amman Valley, performing the beautiful Frozen Warnings. Seeing that Ireland is currently sinking under a mass of snow, "Frozen warnings close to mine / Close to the frozen borderline" is somewhat appropriate.

Frozen Warnings was originally recorded by Nico on The Marble Index in 1968. By the way, doesn't Cat Power today look remarkably similar to Nico then?
