...of May. And what a memorable month it was. May began in bliss with the election of Boris Johnson as Mayor of London and ended in absurdity with the publication of the memoirs of Scott McClellan. Remember him? When Scott McClellan was the White House spokesman, the press had nothing but contempt for him and depicted him as clueless, but now that he's written a memoir critical of George W. Bush, the media finds him to be a fount of wisdom and integrity. Deception, indeed. By the way, the best review of the book was delivered on Twitter by Matthew Baldwin: "I totally didn't know I was lying those 630,000 times."
