Glósóli

A young drummer boy gathers up the residents of what appears to be an adult-free land and leads a utopian revolution. Glósóli by Sigur Rós is incredibly beautiful, but don't miss the final, chilling moment, which suggests that he who hesitates is lost and also hints that some of those who follow charismatic leaders may be in for a big fall. Been there. Done that.

Glósóli is from the album Takk... (Thanks...), which was the fourth full-length studio recording by the Icelandic band, and was released in August 2005. By the way, to enjoy the full impact of Glósóli, check out the high-quality version made available by EMI:Chrysalis. QuickTime needed.
