The world before and after

On the eighth anniversary of the felling of the World Trade Center and the taking of so many innocent lives on that fateful day, it is important to visit the site of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, not just to remember those who died, but to put the events before, during and after in context. Clifford Chanin of the Memorial & Museum helps to do this in a series of interviews with a range of figures, including Lawrence Wright of the New Yorker and author of Pulitzer Prize winning The Looming Tower: Al Qaeda and the Road to 9/11. The Wright interview series begin here.
