Week in...

1109palin.jpg Highlight will be, no doubt, the publishing tomorrow of the book that's headed the Amazon top 100 list for 49 days now, Going Rogue: An American Life by Sarah Palin.

Going Rogue is already dominating the news cycle and Mark Steyn had a typically hilarious take on mainstream media's laughable approach to the tsunami it has unleashed: "...the Associated Press assigned 11 writers to 'fact-check' Sarah Palin's new book, and in return the 11 fact-checkers triumphantly unearthed six errors. That's 1.8333333 writers for each error. What earth-shattering misstatements did they uncover for this impressive investment?" You can find out in Rogue's Eleven.

Ultra-vampire femmes like Tina Brown and Arianna Huffington are already feeding off the Alaskan rogue's fame, but her star appeal and ability to draw the crowds only highlights their second-rate status.

This is going to be Sarah's week.

Well, Sarah "I didn't come from no monkey!" Palin surely will play a role in the GOP in the future. This error alone lowers Palin's trustworthiness drastically. It will be fun to watch the development owithin the GOP in the future, religious right and all that *grabs popcorn*

I would like to propose a toast:

Here's to Sarah Palin; may she never - EVER - go away.

I am going to go out on a limb here: No woman since Eleanor Roosevelt has done more to further the cause of progressive politics in the United States of America than our Sarah.

Don'cha just love her? I sure do!
