The Buzz
The name of the biggest game in town is "sharing content online". The players until yesterday were Facebook and Twitter. They have now been joined by Google Buzz. Can it dent the top two? Well, Google's got a lot of Gmail users, which is a start, but Google's not been very good, to put it mildly, at this "social networking" thing, so the jury's out. Still, it's obvious that Google's laying down a bet that e-mail will morph from what it is now to status updates. Buzz might just might get people to think beyond e-mail. As a dedicated Gmail user, Rainy Day will be giving Buzz a tryout later today.
